One smile maybe just one smile is all it takes. Have you ever been really down and depressed and suddenly one pat on the back or one kind gesture makes you feel a whole lot better? That's the beauty of human nature. Even when everything in your life looks like its not going to get better, your heart still chooses to accept that emotion. Sometimes we aren't in a state of mind where we can tangibly feel the positivity, but it is there. It definitely is.
I believe everyone has that one person in their life who can constantly lift their spirits up. When that person is around, you can't help but feel good on the inside. What makes them different from others? It's the way they look at life that draws your attention. They are able to see and dream the things you never thought actually existed. You might not have realized it but they are the very reason you were able to conquer your fears and mainly look past the situation. To see beyond what the eyes can see, to look at the bright side in everything and finally to be the source of light in someone else's darkness. Be thankful for that one person who is on your mind right now. Take time to properly understand that nobody is perfect. They have probably faced more trials than you and yet they choose to rejoice and manage to put a smile on their face.
Right now there are so many people out there longing for your helping hand and you don't even know it! Let's start with one person at a time. Why don't you smile at a person in front of you instead of ignoring them? What's the worst that could happen! The world is in your hands. The battle is in the mind. It all comes down to ONE decision, a simple yes or no. Do you choose to bend and pick a person up or completely ignore the fact that he's even there?
