Exercise VOTE right -Not for the candidate

Hyderabad : The AP high court on Monday directed the election commission of India to allot a symbol to NOTA (none ot the above) option apart from giving wide publicity to it. This option has been introduced for the first  time those voters who want to exercise their voting right even though they dont like any of the existing candidates in the fray. A division bench compromising of chief justice Kalyan Jyothi Sengupta and justice P V Sanjay kumar made this order while hearing a plea by writer and social activist P Sauda.
The letters NOTA are written in English in between brackets on the ballot paper and illiterate voters may not recognize this said the petitioner.
