Karan Tacker, last seen as Viren in Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai will soon be hosting a showHalla Bol. The youth-oriented show is about women who have fought against eve teasing and sexual harrassment. The show based on real life incidents will also feature a youth icon in every episode. Says Karan, “I am excited because I finally found something to be asociated with. It creates awareness not only among women but also makes men responsible towards women. It’s also my way of contributing to the society.” Karan who became popular for his sensitive role in Ek Hazaaron... sees Halla Bol as a natural progression. “I have been brought up by my mother and sister and am emotionally attached to women,” says Karan. He hates the fact that women don’t feel comfortable in public places. “On a personal level, I have been tweeting against eve teasing and the increasing incidences of rape in our country, but through this show I can do something more,” says the actor who gave a miss to Khatron Ke Khiladi (KKK) for Halla Bol. “I would love to be a part of KKK, it is the most competitive show and is about action and stunts which is macho. I was offered the show this year but since I had already committed to Halla Bol, I couldn’t take it up,” says Karan.
