ANUSHKA SHARMA AXED THE RUMOURS ABOUT NEWS OF HER WITH VIRAT KOHLI

                                                            Anushka Sharma, who appeared on the Karan Johar's chat show 'Koffee with Karan' wasn't just grilled about her alleged link-ups with co-star Ranveer Singh, cricketer Virat Kohli, but also asked if there was any truth in reports suggesting that she is dating filmmaker Anurag Kashyap. As expected, the show offered an exceptional mix of gossip, secrets and stars coming clean about rumoured affairs.

That's precisely why Karan opened the episode by asking Anushka if she is single, ready to mingle, or just focused on work. To this she replied, "I'm always single on the show and everywhere else." So when the host asked her about linkups with Virat, she said, "These are just news reports. There is no Virat Kohli." So what led to so much reportage about Anushka and Virat? "It is a bit odd... it is just something people find interesting," she added.
Anushka, who has worked with Ranveer in films 'Band Baaja Baraat' and 'Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl', looked a bit uncomfortable when Karan asked her if she still shares a cordial relationship with alleged former beau. "I'm not so much in touch with Ranveer Singh. He is busy doing his thing, and I'm doing mine. More is being made out of this, than there really is. I saw him at an awards show and we chatted and that was normal," she said.

                                                      Since Anushka is doing a film with Ranveer, she reasoned it is important for them to share a rapport. While host Karan was a bit taken aback when Ranveer preferred Anushka over Deepika and ranked her top of all the actresses he has worked with till now, she looked normal. She reacted to Karan's statement by saying, "Good boy... he has a good choice... I have high reagrds for Ranveer, with his answers."

When asked about rumours suggesting Anushka and Anurag are also seeing each other, she said, "In real time when you have known a person, nothing is happening. But the way they write it, it becomes so huge. And that makes the two people feel so awkward. That's happened to me also," said Anushka, adding, "It was about somebody else."
